The transphobic argument isn’t that you’d be gay for dating someone who used to be a dude, in their view you’re currently dating someone who still is a dude.
These kinds of imaginary clapbacks are fun but usually end up fairly unconvincing to (transphobic) people.
At no point did I ever think any transphobe would be convinced by this.
First you would have them to admit that trans or gay people are even people.
This is what you say to a transphobic person to figure out if they are going to shut up on their own or if they need to be shut up.
