Oh thank God. I thought it was my IBS acting up again. I’ve been on it for over a year and lost the weight really well, but the constipation was somewhat horrific.

If you still have issues with constipation, go get some:

      • High Absorption Magnesium Citrate 250mg
      • High Absorption Potassium supplements

      Why it matters:

GPL-1 drugs deprive your body of some nutrients and to make things worse, normal vitamins also are not fully absorbed for the same reason you are losing weight.

The constipation is a direct result of your body telling you it’s missing certain vitamins and the magnesium citrate plus potassium will help this.

I’d recommend taking it once a week. usually the day after your shot and see if it helps. Up the dosage if it doesn’t but be careful as too much (daily intake) can result in diarrhea.

And as always, don’t take advise from Internet strangers. Instead, use this information to approach your doctor and ask them.

Actually I already have to take salt tablets for another medical issue. But Wegovy certainly didn’t help that issue.

Interesting, for me it was rather fine. I used it for around 3 years, and kept up a once per day bowel schedule on most days. Still lost a lot of weight. But I know it does slow down digestion a lot, all the way from the stomach to the colon
