cat mum: what’s 6 times 7?
cat boy (making faces): 6 7!!!
cat mum: hilarious, as always. but actually …?
cat boy: 42
cat mum: 6 x 7 - 6 7 - is 42?!
cat boy: yeah … so?
cat mum (making faces): that means 6 7 is the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything!
cat boy: daddy! mommy’s being weird again!
cat dad: aww, you see son, - your mommy is just a huge dork!
cat mum: history doesn’t repeat itself, but it rhymes!

67?
Is this some new Gen-Alpha-Speak that I’m too (Older-)Gen-Z to understand?
Yes.
Be thankful and don’t look into it any further!
Oh no… there’s a word in my native tongue that sounds similar to 67, 碌柒
💀
That’s it. That’s my official headcanon definition for it. Pretty sure Gen-Alpha kids in Hong Kong are already laughing at the “67” “meme”.
Richard?
Dick‽
FYI, it isn’t “67” as in “sixty seven” but “6 7” as in “six seven”. Two separate numbers.
Yes… 碌柒 is the same syllables as 六七 (Six Seven), but with tones 1 and 6 instead of 6 and 1
Sixty-seven would be 六十七
Ah, thank you for explaining the language rules. I just inferred from how it was typed in the comment. The link it sent me too was a bit confusing it seems without at least basic understanding of the language, which I’m not educated in.
Ever hear the joke “why is 6 afraid of 7? Because 7 ate/8 9”? Well kids these days are really into that joke to the point that they will go crazy if you just mention 6 and 7.
