Trying to lock Comey away so he can’t say “yeah that’s not the Epstein files” when the “Epstein files” are finally released.

“It appears that a mistake has been made. Please politely refrain from further mistakes. Another mistake, not good, please commit no further mistakes. It appears you just violated 3 of Comey’s constitutional rights, try not to do that again. You lied to the grand jury 5 times just there, mistakes happen…” ad nauseum

Says all of the people that believe mistakes from criminal defendants should often cost them huge chunks of their lives, at least if it’s a poor on trial.

Frankly, I’m much more concerned about the contrived prosecutions against people who don’t have Comey’s resources.

Yeah this kinda BS happens all the fucking time. Lotta people get screwed by the so-called justice system and few people other than the victims and their families even know it.

So he might not have Comey’s resources, but he’s probably a bit more well positioned than most Americans would be in that situation.

He was smart enough not to let himself get intimidated into a plea deal and that’s more than most Americans know when confronted by the law

The problem if it gets dismissed this way is that the 40% of the country who are full MAGA can argue “He got off on a technicality”.

I bet one of them will take matters into his own hands, and Trump will pardon him for it.
