    That was the last name of his adoptive parents. Klingons do not use last names. I don’t think Worf ever used that name himself. I am unsure why Alexander used that last name, though. Perhaps as a way to rebel against his Klingon heritage.

      At some point he says "son of Rozhenko, House of Martok " yadda yadda. But you’re right, the last name is really only used as a title/formality when needed.

        One or another of the 1990s TNG video games let the player look up random info in the ship’s computer, and the personnel file for Worf gave his full name as Worf Rozhenko.
