I try not to look away from things I care about in case they don’t come back. I just don’t know how to know when things will reappear when I look again or not.

Can you explain why when I look away and then back the objects reappear? I try not to look away from things I care about in case they don’t come back.
I just don’t know how to know when things will reappear when I look again or not.
