If you didn’t want me making jokes about the casket, why even invite me to the funeral?

My first experience at a funeral was my friend’s mom who died of cancer when we were eight. He was totally unemotional about it. Kept touching her nose and saying how sticky it was. Didn’t seem to give a shit about anything.

I left with no idea what to think. Funerals are weird.

Disappointed there is no “Potent Potables” category.

In my mind, the “getting to know you” phase is when you conceal all that stuff. Not in a dishonest way. Show them who you are. They just don’t need to know why you’re that way.

Hmm, which one of these categories covers being raised in a cult?

…or is it just all of them?

Ah, but it can lead to poor life choices… and also fill my brain with things I shouldn’t say…

Is “never learning how to set vertical alignment” one of the spaces under “poor life choices”? /s

All of my poor life choices were based on lies and omissions. I recently found out that my highschool lied to me about that honors placement test to keep me in the remedial classes. The guidance counselor who slipped up and told that to me refused to say that that was wrong.
