    Mayo is basically just whipped egg so it’s not even a factor. Maybe not the same spices but you could, if you wanted

      It’s egg whipped with a large amount of fats. And whatever other flavoring you like. If nothing else, the amount of extra butter/oil is untenable.

      And going the other way: you add an “appropriate” amount of cinammon and nutmeg to your now-Christmas egg salad, and let me know how it goes for you.

          yeah, if you wanted to be pedantic, you could add a single crumb each of the various spices that go on French toast to egg salad.

          this whole thing is vaguely worded

          As I said it, I was also imterested in how you could make that work. But I’m not culinarily skilled enough to conceive of anything.

          It feels like it would become more of an art piece, a conscientious objection to the orthodoxy of egg salad, than what (I think) people expect from an egg salad [sandwich]. Which is to say: egg and mayo, slightly sweet and creamy. I do like the idea of like a deviled egg salad sando tho.
