Remember when we thought 2016 was the worst it could get?
Good times.
we’re definitely at an inflection point but i cant help but be optimistic…an open/honest socialist just won a major seat in probably the most corrupt establishment/good olde boys city in the country (tied with like…boston, maybe).
red scare propaganda is slowly but surely fading and Murdoch’s fearganda is so offputting to the majority of the country (his WSJ and thousands of radio networks on the other hand…), throw in father time finally coming for all these shitass boomers…
the winds of change are upon us.
And basically every election has flipped 20 points across the board. The time for progressives has arrived, I just hope we have the energy to carry us through it
We’re living in Russia times. It’s the classic “… and then it got worse …”
It’s been 2016 for 10 years now.
And 2020 for six years. At the same time.
and '25 already felt like 4 years.
Luckily we had a very very very brief interlude between 2020 and 2024.
You forgetting the pandemic?
I’m tempted to think that a new pandemic would be a breath of fresh air.
That’s fair, do you think just the year 2023 then?
The relative sanity was nice.
Have you noticed like in recent years memes got back to their demotivating roots?
