Dune 3 and Avengers: Doomsday are both launching on december 18th, and I have heard the two of them be referred to as “Dunesday”!
I’m not expecting Avengers Doomsday to be anything better than a pile of dogshit. It should not be compared to Dune 3 which is an adaptation of a classic.
Maybe the joke is that they are polar opposite action adventure movies for different audiences. Quality vs turd.
I’m not expecting Avengers to be worth watching either, but it is still a movie with a huge budget that I think a whole bunch of people will see, unfortunately.
As a long time mcu hater I’m so glad people have come around to my sidemalso dune 3 is probably going to be shit as well. Not as bad as Avengers, but still not good.
That could be said about any movie but the Villenueve adaptations have been great so far. I see no reason to doubt the next one.
I would disagree. They are good star wars movies, but not good Dune movies.
