    It’s a particularly shitty time in politics when the main takeaway from a person dying is how it will impact partisan vote count.

      The way Doug LaMalfa is remembered by the country at large was in no one’s hands except Doug LaMalfa’s.

      If you don’t want people to celebrate when you die, you should probably try not being utterly morally bankrupt and siding with a fascist autocracy.

        I know nothing about Doug LaMalfa but political opinions work both ways. It’s very dangerous when people want politicians dead instead of voted out.

      I noticed this too. Like a person dies and the immediate thought is how it affects the house.

      Maybe he’s terrible but youre right, it’s a shitty time in politics.
