Theater owners: “I’m never going to financially recover form this.”
If this I without inflation, then surely theatres will die rapidly in the near future?
My assumption is we may go backwards in time to when studios had theaters. Disney, Comcast, Paramount, Sony, Amazon and maybe Netflix will have their own movies theaters. That way all the money goes directly to them.
Trump made this possible when he repealed the Paramount Decree. Netflix already owns Grauman’s Egyptian Theatre
One of those big 6 will buy up Amc or Regal in a few years.

Yes, but not so many that it’s hard to find one. At least in my experience. I wonder how much is covid, how much is changing habits due to technology and how much is superhero fatigue.
