You know that guy didn’t make a single “conservative argument”, meaning he did not provide evidence for his claim. I would LOVE to hear about all the so-called conservatives that DON’T support Trump. Not enough to challenge your Trumper friends though, right?
I feel it’s safe to assume that conservatives voted for Trump. If a small minority did not, they’re extremely quiet. It’s not unreasonable to assume people vaguely spouting “conservative ideas” without the slightest ability to discuss them in any depth are MAGA folk that can’t think of a way to defend Trump, so they just have to portray themselves as persecuted. It’s not the “liberals and leftists” that are the problem for that guy, if he hates Trump. If he hates Trump, the problem for him is conservatives. Seeing as how he only has criticism for the group he supposedly agrees with (on this issue) and NOT for the group that strongly supports Trump makes it seem to me that he’s a MAGA conservative.
Trump has owned your party since 2016. Your politicians bow before him like a fucking god. If you’re not part of the cult, you have more ability to change people’s minds than liberals do. They’ll give you more credibility. Are you doing that?

That isn’t a political argument, it has nothing to do with conservatism. It is, however, a pretty accurate observation given the fact that you will presumably claim some sort of leftist ideology and you are part of the harassment squad.
Nothing I said was in defense of conservatism, I stated that it existed and there are other conservative parties and ideologies that are not MAGA. This isn’t an opinion, it’s Political Science 101.

You’re confusing ‘people who disagree with me’ with ‘MAGA’. I disagree with the harassment, that doesn’t make me a conservative.

The conversation is about “people who are democrats, liberals and leftists that will stop at nothing to harass people who share conservative ideas”. Somehow this has triggered a wave of downvotes and harassing comments, why? Nothing that he said is incorrect.
The reason why is that you can read his statement and infer that he isn’t a leftist, democrat or liberal and therefore you join right in on the harassment of him and anybody who tells you that you’re wrong. You baselessly assume that the people disagreeing with you are MAGA.
