        It’s helped to be having these conversations on social networks where everyone feels compelled to say “no that’s crazy talk, violence is bad” and comments that say otherwise just go missing.

          That’s quite far back, I was but a youngster/teenager and I’m not from America. What made rioting warranted back in 2002?

            Full disclosure, I’m also not American. But I was thinking of the Patriot Act, which IMO was a huge power grab by the Executive Branch and paved the way for a lot of the problems (especially widespread indiscriminate surveillance) that are present today.

            It’s up to the Americans of course, and I remember there being protests about it, but I was really surprised they just let that go on without getting rowdy.
