What gets me is that no one even saw him rise out of the tomb, according to the bible (as I recall it). A few days after he died, the Mary’s were just walking down the road and Jesus happened to be there going the other direction.
Like, it seems like no one even checked the tomb after the fact.

The Gospel of Peter has Jesus emerging from the tomb. Along with his now sentient talking cross.
