    one of the cars has to be parked slightly over the grass in Martinez’s yard, in violation of a local property-maintenance ordinance, which has led to a $250 fine every day since 2021.

    Only in US, where the government demand people to drive, refuse to provide alternative, and then fine them for parking in a funny way within their own property.

      I mean, you would think after the first day of getting a $250 ticket, the family would’ve done a little problem solving on their driveway situation.

      Letting tickets pile up for over four years before checking to see if they stand up in court is a level of overconfidence that honestly makes it hard to have much sympathy.

        I mean, it can be a form of protest too – and let’s be honest, paying a fine for having slightly unkempt grass or parking slightly curvy on your own house’s parking spot, is stupid.
