I can definitely see the DNC trying to shove him down our throats. Hopefully there are some actual challengers in the primaries.

I like to think that the political machine we’re building to combat the Trump administration will flatten the DNC old guard pretty handily. Time will tell, but they barely had a handle on Bernie when there was no organization or understanding of the scale of the fight. I’m hopeful.

Except no such thing exists. MAGA hasn’t created any meaningful surge in independent progressive (let alone genuine leftwing) politics; it’s only compelled the center left to close ranks with the center against the rising tide of the far right. There’s zero momentum for “flattening the old guard;” if you want to do that you’ll have to actually try.

The courts already allowed DNC to rig their primaries, I bet they’ll keep up the theater. Might as well.

“We could have voluntarily decided that, ‘Look, we’re gonna go into back rooms like they used to and smoke cigars and pick the candidate that way,” DNC’s lawyer Bruce Spiva told a Florida court.

Unless you mean Trump. Probably you mean Trump. Last time he tried stealing the country (before getting elected again wtf) the military seemed ready to intervene. Wonder if that’d happen now.
