I was a fairly young teenager when I saw Starship Troopers for the first time, it was a TV edit with that scene and a couple others removed (in hindsight it’s a bit shocking how little they had to cut for TV). Years later my family was staying in an RV park and we were looking though the campground DVDs and they had that movie available so I suggested we watch it. And nearly died of embarrassment at that scene, lol.
