Research from the New York Fed confirms that U.S. companies and consumers are bearing tariff costs, despite the president’s assertions otherwise.
Fun part since the tariff is almost impossible to calculate before you buy it (state taxes and if it’s a Tuesday) most sellers just add a margins of error to your price.
So the tariff may only cost like $3.50 but you’ll be charged $5 + tax for it.
