Kangaroos basically do everything we do better when it comes to endurance running, be it distances, average speed or top speeds. And they still get to be incredibly energy efficient while doing so with their unique locomotion style. They absolutely could hunt the same way our ancestors did by simply wearing out prey over extended hunts.
Only reason they did not evolve that way over their evolutionary history is, I imagine, that the only prey they could hunt in Australia that way are other kangaroos, which are just as efficient at running away over long distances. But you know, carnivory evolves pretty quickly in evolutionary time scales, if anything survives us I believe they could get there in time. We even introduced camels in Australia for them to hunt that way.

Kangaroos have tiny brains and to be a predator you need to be a bit smarter.
Sucks to be a marsupial in a placental mammal world.
That sounds like complete nonsense to me.
In fact, mammals are generally big-brained animals compared to the average.
A kangaroo wrote this, I guarantee it
I’m just kinda curious where you heard that kangaroos are especially dumb? (they’re not)

It’s omnivores that get +2 to int. Predators put all their points into str and dex.
I mean… You have tiny animals like spiders or snakes being very efficient predators. Their brains are microscopic. Im actually amazed by animals like crows, how smart they are and the culture they have, with just small brains like that.
I think the heuristic works better within an animal kingdom… Or maybe I’m just wrong
