If I were queer and single, I would not trust Grindr at this point. I have heard way too many stories of people being tricked into being attacked by bigots via Grindr.
I know loneliness is a huge problem in this world for many of us, but stay safe out there my friends.
Or at least take a pocket knife or something. Knives for self defense are generally not the best because people tend to end up hurting themselves with them, but just pulling a knife out could be enough to scare off a group of scumbag teenagers.

But that’s exactly the problem.

If you don’t know how to fight with a knife, that’s a good way to get your knife stuck into your gut.
Well the idea is that it wouldn’t come to that. It’d be better to have a knife and hopefully scare the teenagers off than have them beat you to death.
