For those OOTL, this is in response to the real-world complaint letter from Bellevue owners

The article is a satire, but reading the actual complaint, it actually sound, if the reported decibel is accurate. But then again, car traffic sound is constant and train is intermittently, so to complain about a few second of a once in a while loud noise in the day is kinda silly.
Sometimes, constant sounds can be easier to tune out, so I kinda get it. Not saying it’s justified, but I get it.
at the same time though that “tuning out” is like getting used to a chafing shoe. Sure you stop thinking about it, but it’s still hurting you…
Every now and then the traffic volume in my town goes down so much that all that background noise is completely gone, and it literally changes how the world feels. Suddenly you viscerally feel like you’re out on the countryside and everything just feels calm and peaceful.
The constant road noise literally observably makes people stressed, it lowers your lifespan!Yeah, totally can see where they coming from.
