    The US didn’t even get the excuse of being forced to pay obscenely high war reparations to justify their fascism. Instead, it’s dissatisfaction with inflation which, in turn, is the predictable combination of the exponential depletion of scarce resources (real estate, water) and the consolidation of property into the hands of an ultra wealthy minority. If one must frame the emergence of fascism in a “war” context, then the cause is plutocrat beligerantes strategically fighting a social class war while most of everyone else think it’s a culture war.

    I dont think Elon Musk is a nazi. I’ve never seen any evidence that he is a nazi nor have I ever seen any presented. I think he is an asshole that harasses people for his personal satisfaction. He is so rich that no matter what happens he, his children, and all their children will all enjoy the highest quality lives available. There may also be some chemical addiction mixed in there as well as some mental illness.

      Yeah I figured we had a year or two at least before slowly taking off the mask and showing the true fascism. This was just right out of the gate.

        Why not? There’s been no penalty. No widespread social ostracizing, no legal justice, no political punishment… This is who they are, and enough Americans are okay with that that they don’t have to pretend otherwise.
