I think they’re saying they’re not using Windows to operate Artemis II but the astronauts are probably used to using Microsoft products. So when it comes to simple logging and data entry they probably are using Windows. But these are their own computers and not used to run Artemis II. I may be wrong but that’s how I understood it.
Fortunately not.

Man I got Google accounts I can’t even log into cuz I never saved my passwords when I was younger
Didn’t know you could give birth to millennials these days!
That’s what drives me crazy. There’s usually more than one way to do/enjoy things and there’s people who actually can’t comprehend they don’t actually know the optimal way for everything-ever.

At the very least you can have your conscience eased that you didn’t simply let the country go to shit and fought back in some capacity.

This has been my concern switching over to other OS’. I’m hoping as these alternative choices become more popular this won’t be the case as much but I do still have a Windows laptop I rarely use. Only use it for special use cases.

Same here. Just lurking has been useful to me here. Nice to see someone in a similar spot (not an expert but passionate about the subject)
I’ve always said banning guns doesn’t make violent people incapable violence. Trying it during a time where we can 3D print guns isn’t really realistic. Its a cultural issue.

Yes. At least the beards and hair by the temples.

Our bill of rights really should extend to digital data by default. Technology is so integrated into our lives that phones and computers should be treated more akin to personal offices. I feel like grabbing our data from our personal space challenges the fourth amendment.

You think it was for show? I am genuinely curious of someone else’s view because I’ve been skeptical myself. The fact they were even working with the Pentagon in the first place was a red flag to me.

Yeah that was one of the original selling points for me. Being able to use YouTube without ads, play audio with phone locked and YouTube actually works better on the browser than the app.

I mean I’m open to other mobile browsers if you have suggestions. On my actual PC I use Mullvad and Librewolf.
Edit: ironfox was heavily recommended and have installed in. Seems good to me so far. I appreciate your guys suggestions.

Just cut off a friend who tried to tell me racism isn’t a choice. Knew him for over a decade but he fell into an algorithm that he became obsessed with. He really believed he was seeing the “truth” finally.
Israel claiming ceasefire is the same as a kid saying it’s their turn when you’re play fighting.
