Yeah what I mean is for me it doesn’t really matter, I am not going to break a bottle, and even if I accidentally did (not really sure how at the beach in soft sand) I would clean up the glass pieces. Broken bottles at the beach are left by assholes, not by accident.

  • I don’t know about your city, but getting towed away can cost you between 150 and 500 (diffent in every city) plus the fine (parking on a tram lane) 120 plus about 25 for every night your car is not picked up. So people avoid that.

When I just got my drivers license I came home one night and found a free parking spot, felt like the last one. When I needed my car about a week later it was gone. Went to the police to report it as stolen, turned out it was towed. I accidentally parked on a reseved spot that you are not allowed to park in. Pretty dumb but it was an honest mistake. The fine was about twice what I earned a month from my partime job as a student. It really sucked, but it was a good lesson.

  • We got the second kid when the first one was almost 4. It was pretty rough, we where just getting back our sleep, and went in 2+ years of irregular sleep. She is 2 and a half now and thankfully sleep is getting much better.

If you have a kid and thinking about a second one, I would recommend don’t wait 3+ years, or wait 5+ years so you have a bit of time to recover.

  • What kind of BS is that?

“Ecofascism is “environmentalism through genocide”, opined Klein. Political researcher Alex Amend defined ecofascist belief as “The devaluing of human life—particularly of populations seen as inferior—in order to protect the environment viewed as essential to White identity.””

Basically all the right wing nut bags that are popular now deny climate change. Trump even has his famous drill baby drill bit

I think you have a good point most Dutch people would say lets get Indonesian food today, while actually getting food you probably can’t find exactly the same in Indonesia.

I would probably take D (I think it still has a tiny slice of Italy). Pizza and asian I can’t live without. I think there is still debate on the origin of fries)…

  • This can’t really be answered in a simple way. Like a lot of “traditional” European dishes use potatoes. But at some point they where not native to Europe. So does that count? Or something like New York style pizza, is that American? Because in that case the Netherlands for example has a lot of Indonesian dishes that are more variations on traditional Indonesian food (made by immigrants using more local ingredients).

I think food is the best example why immigration and mixing of cultures can really improve humanity.
