I just got diapers according to the store it was a great discount, they where from the stores own brand (not even a “premium” brand)

Anyway I paid 26 cents per diaper (for my daughter)

When my son was born 6 years ago I paid 12 cents per diaper.

Every government chart about inflation is just not accurate for your groceries. The official inflation numbers tell me it’s about 25% inflation, but in reality for a lot of things it doubled.

  • In the past I used to go to Macdonalds or burger king fairly often. I also enjoy whiskey and bourbon so I bought Woodford reserve.

Macdonalds and burger king, I stopped going when they kept the food the same but doubled the prices. For the same amount I’d rather go to some local artisinal burger place.

American bourbon I just stopped buying when trump started to make threats against the EU and Canada. In 2022 I visited the US, but right now I don’t want to go to the US or use US products. Services I’m slowly getting away from but it takes some time.

Even if your next president is Bernie Sanders, I probably still wouldn’t trust the US again. Who is next after him? Can be a trump like president again.

Where I live we have this saying, trust comes by foot but leaves by horse. It’s going to take a lot of time to earn trust back.
