That website is horrible, reads like somebody having a temper tantrum.

You can root the Gardena gateway and control their mowers locally with this: https://github.com/andrexp/gardena-local-control
I don’t think they have mowers with GPS though. Also, some of their mowers don’t use the gateway.
A good reminder that I wanted to check if support can be added for their presence sensors. Those things are incredibly noisy.
Especially since AI is already in Firefox, the offline translation feature uses local NMT models.
If only ESPHome had support for Zigbee on the C6 and H2. So much potential for cool projects.
It’s what was done for Panasonic ACs: https://www.espthings.io/index.php/2023/09/02/esphome-panasonic-climate-interface/
I’m sure somebody will take a really close look at Haier ACs now.

If your vacuum supports it, Valetudo is fantastic. https://valetudo.cloud/
I was not able to do this with Lemmy. On both Mastodon and Matrix I use my base domain just like for my email address but for Lemmy I had to use the subdomain.
The biggest issue was that both of them use webfinger and it was impossible to point that file to two services.
That’s strange, my headphones cost about 300€ and there is no way a smartphone headphone jack can even drive them at a sufficient volume due to their higher impedance.
I would imagine that gets worse on more expensive ones?
I don’t think Windows server is officially supported by Synapse so Docker, WSL or a Linux VM are probably your only chances.
Yes, it’s possible but you either have to host your own server, have to be on a server where the IRC bridge is installed and can be used by anyone or use a service like Beeper that takes care of it for you.
Are we talking about a company?
Element provides hosted and on-premise solutions for companies: https://element.io/
Synapse is the server that’s normally used and can be installed pretty easily: https://matrix-org.github.io/synapse/latest/setup/installation.html
There’s a list of public servers here: https://joinmatrix.org/servers/
But be careful if it’s for a company, public servers might go down.
As frontend you can also use the Element clients or web interface, they are completely free.
I set it up last month. Local voice control is not quite there yet but it looks promising. Home Assistant’s cloud assistant works really well though.
Just needs wake words now and this could be a game changer. Really looking forward to see where this is going.
No problems here but I only use SSH keys which are configured on my ~/.ssh directory.
I assume you can use ssh-agent somehow to save your credentials.
GittyUp! https://murmele.github.io/Gittyup
I previously used GitKraken but was looking for an open source alternative that works in a similar fashion and has a Flatpak.
Is it safe to use
JELLYFIN_SQLITE__disableSecondLevelCache
all the time or should it only be used for testing?I have had a lot of database lock issues since 10.9.
