You still just want to be outraged to be outraged. I DIDNT read past your first sentence because it’s clear that’s all you want to do. Feel free to reply, but I’ll just do the same then too.

Considering the LAPD is by many considered a gang in itself, and it’s been proven that within its ranks there are various “police gangs” with matching tattoos and the whole shebang, I have little faith in them being on our side. In case anyone forgets, the TV show The Shield was based on the infamous Rampart division of the LAPD. Or remember who beat Rodney King. Or fucked up the OJ case trying to frame him(when he probably would have been convicted if they hadn’t fucked it up). I only hear of the NYPD getting as much hate as them.
if we built public transit
It’s almost like they’re implying it needs expansion and improvements. Maybe if you read past the first sentence without waiting to be immediately outraged, you’d have caught that.

“he has impractical business ideas” is what I assume you’re talking about? I wasn’t asking for a description of Kramer in his entirety, just what made you use him as your yardstick. I can’t find that on the wikipedia page.
And yet you figured it out.

I’m not conversing in good faith? It’s not my job to spoon feed you. But since you apparently need that, here’s the Wikipedia for Cosmo Kramer:

If you had put even a modicum of effort in, you’d have already learned the crucial context. But you didn’t. Instead, you posted asking others to teach you. And yes, now I’m mocking you because you seemed pro-crypto and are demonstratively lazy.

If you don’t know Seinfeld, then why are you commenting in a thread comparing tech to Seinfeld plots? If you have no context, it’s your own fault. It’s like walking into a library and complaining that there are books. You are aware of what’s going on here, right? I worry about you crypto folks sometimes… If this happens to you frequently, you should see a doctor about neurological conditions. Make sure to mention the crypto to them too. I’m sure it’ll help speed up your diagnosis.

Kramer would be completely on board with crypto, which is really the only thing that needs to be said.
People bring up crypto because it is the only use of blockchain that isn’t worse than already established methods. And crypto is only “better” because it’s unregulated and allowed a bunch of scams to be pulled.

Ok, and what about games like Rocket League? It was already wildly popular. And didn’t we get interviews from a few exclusivity deal people saying that in the long run it wasn’t better than just launching on steam?
But yes, I’m glad 2 games got made despite Epics shittiness. Maybe if they built features into their launcher they’d have more. How long did it take them to make a friends list? And last I heard, wasn’t viewing your own library still largely dependent on you knowing what games you already owned?
Yeah, never gonna defend that shitstain of a company. They tried to bully their way in and failed and they deserve it 100000%

Not even. I’ve bought games on Steam that I forgot I had in Epic because Epic is just that trash. Fuck Epic for trying to start their store by bribing developers for exclusivity on their platform. Bitch ass tactics to begin with and then crying and whining when their mob mentality strong arming didn’t work. Best believe if their shit had worked and they became popular those greedy assholes would be asking a higher percentage once everyone was locked in.
No. You can sue the IRS for all kinds of reasons related to your taxes. You’re expected to go through administrative channels first, but you absolutely can sue the IRS.

Big. Fucking. Deal.
Slinging half assed insults isn’t gonna solve this and people’s obsession with constantly bringing it up like it offends him or his base is retarded.
Yes it was stupid then and it’s just as stupid now when the other side keeps bringing it up.

You realize that was 12 years ago and the only people who still bring this up are liberals acting like it’s some great “gotcha!”, right? Shut the fuck up with the tan suit already. You sound as demented as him. Maybe focus on today. If your best defense against facism is some half-witted comment about 12 years ago, weren’t not gonna win this.
People hate it when you say this. But it’s legit. If people actually were genuinely good and wanted to be good, then would we really have all the problems we do? If one person(sleezy billionaire) can completely wreck society, then was society that strong to begin with? People point out that there are more of us than them, yet the minority them manages to keep the rest of us in line pretty well… Yet we have the power? Well what are we doing with it then?
The biggest flaw of humanity is we think we are way better than we actually are. But the sad truth is we all are affected by biases, unconscious beliefs, flaws in our reasoning, flaws in our character, flaws in our perception, flaws in our memory, etc. This, in itself, is not a bad thing. It’s pretending like we’re above all of that and that it doesn’t affect us that leads to our downfall and is a bad thing.
Hubris, made popular in every societies storytelling going back millenia, is our greatest flaw. We think ourselves way better than we truly are.
