If one person(sleezy billionaire) can completely wreck society, then was society that strong to begin with? The biggest flaw of humanity is we think we are way better than we actually are. But the sad truth is we all are affected by biases, unconscious beliefs, flaws in our reasoning, flaws in our character, flaws in our perception, flaws in our memory, etc. This, in itself, is not a bad thing. It’s pretending like we’re above all of that and that it doesn’t affect us that leads to our downfall and is a bad thing.

Considering the LAPD is by many considered a gang in itself, and it’s been proven that within its ranks there are various “police gangs” with matching tattoos and the whole shebang, I have little faith in them being on our side. In case anyone forgets, the TV show The Shield was based on the infamous Rampart division of the LAPD. Or remember who beat Rodney King. Or fucked up the OJ case trying to frame him(when he probably would have been convicted if they hadn’t fucked it up). I only hear of the NYPD getting as much hate as them.
