Hopefully they will attempt to fix the sqlite db locking issues instead of chastising users for having them on network storage. Last version before 10.9.0 continues to work fine.

I feel like you had to learn how to use it, operators and phrasing etc. They dumbed it down with search suggestions and even further by changing search terms to synonyms, and now outright ignoring terms. Height of Internet search was definitely pre 2008. More like 2005.
Because they force you to use online accounts now, you can get it from the registered account via the Microsoft account page.
In your Microsoft account: Open a web browser on another device. Go to https://account.microsoft.com/devices/recoverykey to find your recovery key.
I have about 15-20 z80 dip processors if anyone wants to buy them. Most are still factory sealed. PM me if interested.
Why don’t they go with Microsoft Defender for Linux? I have never used it so don’t know if it’s still a battery hog…
Is it because our universe is actually some type of organism and it has growth in different areas more than others?
I thought so, top, at least initially. However, it sounds like the out sourced cashiers essentially tallied up the orders after the customer left and sent the bill. How much correction had to be applied to the automation remains to be seen. The biggest issue with systems like this is tracking between scenes and angles. It could be the humans in the loop were there to resync the metadata of each tracked object (i.e., customer) as they moved isle to isle or they removed a jacket or whatever.
That definitely makes sense. I feel like it is a balancing act and definitely won’t please everyone. I just wanted to express my dissatisfaction with all of the sorting methods currently. 😁
I find myself using top (6 hours) the most recently.
I counted maybe a handful of recent comments. Are there really no other active discussions happening that have more activity? I feel like a threshold for aging out activity was tweaked to included a longer window which would make this seem like it’s the most active even though the majority of the comments are old.
Here’s roughly the second page
Top 3 from All sorted by Active. The 3 hrs one isn’t too bad but I regularly see 17hr+ on the this list.

Finally a use for the needle in a haystack multimodal LLMs for video.
I’ve been a few times now, and every time it’s a lot of fun!
All you’ve been talking about is the hardware. And you’re right about that. But the software is where everything gets turned on It’s head. Android releases continue to remove features and have issues. MacOS is much better in nearly every regard to Windows 10/11 or Arch/Ubuntu/younameit. I have been a user of every Windows version since 3.11 and Linux for a couple decades now. I recently got a macbook and holyshit. Plus it works better with my phone and watch and airpods. Really tight integration with all of their other products. Family integrations are way ahead of Microsoft, Android (at least the google and Amazon variety, I swore off Samsung years ago), and until the recent beta even Steam. If you’re going to sing the praises of Android and notamac, do yourself a favor and take a deepdive into the software space because as anyone can tell you about AMD vs nVidia, no matter how good the hardware is, if the software isn’t there it’s worthless (AI/ML, video drivers in general until last several years).
after me: I will not federate with any Meta products.
If this is legit and not corruption and bitcoin eventually takes off to ungodly levels, imagine the biggest bet in history paying off and their country turns around as an economic powerhouse. Risky and stupid but would make a good movie.
Emby clients still work decently well.
We use Library Thing to manage my library of 1400+ and growing. It is free and works great for books, movies, TV series. Anytime I’m browsing the local stores I easily check if if I already own something. Has helped a ton.
It works with my partner having access to the same library. Wishlisting things is easy. You can scan the barcode or search titles to add them.
Tailscale is a point to point VPN so you don’t open anything to the outside.
I ended up back on 10.8.13 until the sqlite issues are resolved.
