Thanks, I sent them an e-mail.
Admin of a lot of fediverse servers. See my accounts on Keyoxide
I receive a lot of messages, direct and mentions. I can’t reply to them all. If you have an issue, please e-mail at [email protected]
Thanks, I sent them an e-mail.
No. The content of the e-mail is most of times enough to be found in search.
I leave everything that needs action in the Inbox. All other mail I move to Archive.
For the rest I use Search.
We run the database and backend on a ax161 on Hetzner. The media is in Wasabi. The alt uis run on a cloud vps.
Ooh an iPhone that’s been locked for 50 years, I wonder what iPhones looked like in 1974!
I haven’t read this. But I know you can unlock your iPhone using your icloud account.
(Still, happy I switched to android this year)
I like Vivaldi, which is Chromium based. I also like Safari for the speed. Difficult to choose between the two. The feature that Vivaldi has and Safari hasn’t, which I’m missing in Safari, is tab auto-refresh.
No, it’s just the tables/indexes and application were changed by the Lemmy developers.
Probably some bored kids.
It’s run by the people that are making Lemmy. They’re very busy improving the code, which we already benefit from on our server, but I understand they don’t also have the time to update lemmy.ml with every change in code. I think a lot will improve as soon as 0.18.1 is released and am sure they will update lemmy.ml as well.
hi! lemmyworld admin here.
If I did it right, wefwef.app should no longer be rate-limited. Please let me know if it worked.
Or .world! Sounds very general too ;-) You could even setup a general Mastodon server on a .world, betcha it would work!
Either do a pg_dump
or stop the database and make a full copy.
The pg_dump
won’t require downtime but will take longer to restore.
I use this command for the pg_dump
docker exec lemmy_postgres_1 pg_dump -Fc -U lemmy lemmy > /opt/lemmy/backup/lemmy_db_`date +%Y%m%d`.dump
Good tip. I changed it to 512 also, yesterday.
Yes and all these replies make a lemontree…
oooohhh I couldn’t fit it in 1 photo… Also my office is too big a mess… I’ll maybe make a photo when I have some time to tidy up…
I mainly use HA for monitoring, have only 1 automation which turns on a heating-wire when outside temp drops below 3C.
This is for the Lemmy.World server (just the physical box, not the related VMs). Around 12TB last month.
