A majority of the Israeli public is opposed to allowing humanitarian aid into the besieged Gaza Strip, a survey carried out by Israel’s Channel 13 has found.

Some 53 per cent of respondents said they believe Israel should not permit aid to enter Gaza, while only 34 per cent supported allowing lifesaving food, medicines and water to enter the enclave.

The survey sample, which included Palestinian citizens of Israel, suggests that opposition to humanitarian aid among Jewish Israelis may be even higher.

As someone who is Jewish, I honestly can’t see how the world moves forward with a country called Israel. It can’t exist as a Jewish state to the exclusion of Palestinians.

Yep. I’ve got this fantasy that someday everyone in Israel gets equal rights and they rename the country Canaan or something to highlight the shared origins of the people in the region, but I feel like that’s as likely as me being able to afford retirement someday.

The fascism of the Nazis assuredly felt unstoppable and insurmountable, at the time. And until people made an effort to stop it, it was.

I don’t think Israelis are getting a very neutral view of the war from their media.

Only boomers are corporate media consumers. That said, who responds to such polls, when, and where were they taken? Were they blind and verified by anyone outside of any affiliation. Such statistics are often fitted and project a narrative the influencer wishes to depict.

Or put another way, over half the Israelis are in favour of Holocausting the Palestinians in Gaza using starvation to mass murder them.

…no. They already got that. It was called the holocaust. ANOTHER holocaust is not the answer. They just seem to have somehow forgotten the lessons they should have learned.

According to Zionists, the number of Palestinians went up in the last few decades so it cannot be a genocide. By that logic, since the number of Jews worldwide has increased over the last century then they cannot have been victims of genocide either, right? /s

No, just a blockade of Israel would do it. No need to actually go in, just close the borders.
