The good news here is that if the IRS can change this kind of thing on the whims of the president then it can be changed back and maybe we can finally start taxing churches if we elect a rational president.
Or, the next president, with any luck a democrat, will be so afraid of the backlash from radical Christians, that they won’t change it back.
Won’t be the first time something happens.

Most frequent (and white) churchgoers already lean heavily Republican. There is interesting nuance in the data though (how frequently people attend, evangelical or not, etc).
What the Fuck! This is bullshit and needs to be stopped.
Has anything changed? The IRS never went after political churches in the history of ever.
