    The women who go on there clearly do it not out of spite for men but because the system is clearly not sufficiently ensuring their safety. I’m not saying it’s a good solution but idk why the internet is so enthusiastic about women who likely had bad experiences (including r*pe) being doxxed and calling it karma…

      Not say sex offender registry is enough, only that other way and already exist. Need someone get rape, then report to police and win trial until in registry (if i understand correct). Far too high bar, much mental health required, need talk about what happen, not easy.

      People who doxx getting doxx is ironic.

      Lemmy at least has a misogyny problem and is openly hostile to women. I don’t know how common that is to the Internet itself these days but it doesn’t seem like a good sign, even once you accept that Lemmy specifically recruited Redditors.

        I’ve been noticing more of this recently and it doesn’t encourage me to spend too much time here. There are so many posts that I don’t even open the comment section because I know it’s going to be a disaster and make me feel like I’m intruding on the boys’ online clubhouse.
