      I’d be with you for food, but I would say the fundamental human right to transportation doesn’t extend beyond feet.

        I think people should have a right to transportation of some kind, like a bus pass, but being able to drive yourself isn’t a fundamental right. A lot of people are driving that shouldn’t be

        Great solution for a small part of the US population. The country is designed around car transport, it’s a dead end forced on us long ago. Few cities have (and can have) adequate mass transit that serves even a fraction of the area. I’m anti-car too, but also realize that it’s how things work for most people. So yes, fuel or transportation infrastructure is a right as long as people have to get around to survive.
