Neoliberals depend on a corrupt DNC that was willing to completely cut off funding to any state party who didn’t do what they said.
And with the “victory fund” state parties were essentially paying protection money to the DNC, and getting literally 1% of promised returns. Like, the gist was a billionaire could “bundle” their own various donations. The max to all state parties, max to candidates, and max to DNC as one payment to the “victory fund”.
But Martin’s already dumping all that money back to state parties with zero strings…
Just like Pelosi and this guy, neoliberals are going to drop like flies because losing an elections hurts the salaries on “consulting” jobs. They’re gonna want out and locked into contracts before corporations realize it’s not the same ballgame anymore.
