I remember people hating on DS9 and TNG as well.

Pretty much every series has had plenty of people who just hate it for not being the previous series.

Which is why I ignored people dogging on Discovery and just watched and enjoyed it, same as the rest.

(I’ll admit to being harsh on Enterprise at first, but a lot of it was that intro… Plus, it did take a while to get its feet under it)

I didn’t necessarily hate it, but it was a significant step down after DS9 and TNG.

(And to demonstrate that I am not biased against new Star Treks: I am one of the few human beings alive who loved the first season of Star Trek: Picard when it came out!)

There was alot to like about Voyager but they also dropped the ball alot too.
