Isn’t this the very first scene of the TOS series? Kind of special in that regard.
First with Kirk and Spock yes. Pretty special indeed.
This is a common human misunderstanding. Vulcans have and recognize emotions. They just suppress them.
So spock could be exceptionally irritated right now (especially since this is pre-kolinahr for him) but he won’t show it.
Understandably so, because some vulcans also lie constantly and claim they don’t experience those emotions.
They also lie and claim they can’t lie.
