My entirely sober ass thought the same thing, even before I saw the caption.
(Mastodon, by default, crops the picture to 16:9 from the center. The caption on top is not visible in this crop, and can only be seen when I click the picture to show it in its entirety.)

i never actually read my prof’s paper, but i read the abstract. the basic idea is that you need a fully developed language to coordinate the slaying and dismembering of a mammoth
by “fully developed” i just mean any language spoken within the last 100,000 years.
I don’t know why, but seeing you comment on your comments to further edify and clarify is oddly satisfying. Hit us with some more of those facts!
