Hadn’t heard much of this project until now. Apparently, Crytek, a previous holder of the IP, has at one point given their direct blessing for this project to exist, so it should be safe from immediate legal threats. The project aims to recreate multiplayer as well as the singleplayer. Great to have another awesome free game available, so it’ll be reliant on natural social media spread.
I’ve never played a Timesplitters game. I’ll give this a shot when I have a good chance.
I’m all in on this. Goldeneye was my favorite multiplayer game as a kid, and when I found out about Timesplitters I ran several Future Perfect splitscreen parties well past its prime.
I really hope this is seen through to the end with no legal troubles. I would love to have a way to play online with others.
I’ve already installed it and it runs so great! They’ve only got most of ts1 and I was a future perfect boy so I’m still waiting for my nostalgia, but the gameplay is exactly what I remember and it feels so damn nice.

I played rewind and im very patiently waiting for updates but boy am i excited for more updates because so far this is solid!
