The byline I keep reading is ātheyā arenāt showing the vid from āthe other angleā that clearly depicts an ICE agent being run over.

Edit: slow the video down a bunch, I donāt think the vehicle actually starts to accelerate much until after he shoots her.
This video shows him clearly leaning over onto the vehicle, too.

Honestly I donāt think the driver even noticed the guy walking in front of the car - she was likely concentrating on the guy trying to open her door while the killer, for whatever reason, walked in front of a moving car. There are wild animals with more sense than thatā¦
There is a reduction of attention in the form of tunneled vision when our fight flight freeze is triggered. The most written about effect is āweapon focusā. People robbed or threatened with a gun or knife can describe it and the hand holding it in great detail and only infer the rest.
Good odds she had a tunneling effect on whomever was closest. If we play the human probability numbers thatās the most likely scenario.
