He has a whole YouTube channel all about this and it’s well worth a watch.
I find it amazing he did not only perform the song live, but absolutely impromptu. They had to look up the lyrics for him and yet the song was awesome.
Of course he doesn’t have an actual PC running Windows, masOS or Linux but he absolutely has some digital circuitry in his rig, and some of it probably fit the normal definition of a computer (a cpu with some ram running a program saved in memory).
That LCD for example… analog lcd drivers just don’t exist.
In modern audio production, there’s nearly always a laptop or something involved. The alternative approach is known as a “no computer”/“DAW-less” approach, where you replace everything a computer would be doing, with outboard hardware.
Also worth highlighting It’s not necessarily about being 100% analog. For example, at the end of the day a eurorack trigger signal is obviously digital by nature, but it’s also nothing to do with a computer. You only need a couple of transistors, resistors and a capacitor to make a square wave oscillator after all
The screen you’re pointing out is part of an Arturia BeatStep Pro which is a MIDI controller. It is also probably the only thing in his rig pictured that comes close to that. Most of the modules in the rig have build videos on his channel, and you can see they are not dressed up raspberry pis or anything like that, and basically all analog components.
Now sure you could fence out a minimum viable computer definition that allows you to call anything with a microcontroller a computer, but you’d be including things like TV remote controls, car keys and microwave ovens.
Please note that I’m not the guy who snarkily posted that he « sees computer inside ». Also note that I expressed no opinion on the choice of name, which is in my opinion is very appropriate.

When we’re talking electronic circuits, analog/digital does not mean computer-less/computer, you seem to be reasonably clear on this. And when it comes to the audio world, it’s the same. I can have a DAW-less 100% digital production rig : digital synths into a digital mixer, tracked to digital tape (or whatever other digital medium), using digital outboard fx.
Now yes, you are right, in laymen terms, LMNC does not use a computer (well he probably does to edit his videos but whatever XD), I think I was quite clear about this in my comment. But claiming that LMNC does use computers is not false per say either - although definitely snarky or pedantic.
