Haven’t really listened to Evanescence since Fallen (and like, one other song about a decade ago) but this is solid. Amy Lee has always been a good singer, but she’s certainly matured into a better one. I liked Fallen but I always felt like she was whining about something, or someone. It’s always good to hear her find her power and use it.
This song gave me control resonant vibes when hearing it, the video doesn’t dispell that. If the rest of the album is like this and afterlife, I’ll be a happy listener.
