Person A: “Smoking is associated with chronic health disorders. You shouldn’t smoke.”
Person B: “But you smoke yourself. So much for your argument!”

You (and several others) are missing the entire point of this meme/comic.
It’s not about iPhones or smart, ethical alternatives in consumerism.
It is making fun of those who insist that hypocrisy negates facts!
A lifelong smoker tells you that smoking is bad. You point out what a hypocrite he
is because he smokes. Does any of that have any relevance at all regarding the fact
that smoking is indeed bad?
Stop focusing on the iPhone. The meme/comic is about hypocrisy and how people are dismissive
of facts if they feel they can accuse people of being hypocrites.
