I think most laptop’s still have the option of whether to boot or not when you plug them in with a dead battery.

I literally saw someone in a different thread about this earlier talking about ripping out their Liftmaster garage doors when they pulled a similar move last year.
That sounds like it’s a fire hazard, and could be caused by bad wiring, not necessarily the Shelly device itself.
It’s probably more important to fix stability issues before working on improving the onboarding experience. If people join and the experience is unstable, they may never come back. I think a lot of this reddit migration has been people that are used to being early adopters, that are more technologically-minded. We’re used to things being a bit more jank, and we’re happy to beta-test. Establishing a solid foundation now should be the first priority.
Is this true for everything in orbit though? Like, the ISS is in near earth orbit and so it’s absolutely just falling. But what about things up in a geostationary orbit? What about the moon?
