Just a reminder. That a lot of the people in these departments are already mentally ill. It’s how vets get jobs. Tons of undiagnosed PTSD in these people. Just keep up the push back. They will buckle.

I’ve worked with these people. They are violent monsters that watch too much faux news. I give no one respect if you are a violent monster who doesn’t get treatment. Don’t forget literally snatching children as “bait”. Kid’s a birthright citizen, but if you arrest THEM and they call Mom about “some people said they were from ICE and they took me away from school”, you can arrest the parents when they show up and deport THEM instead (and often put the kid in foster care instead of sending them with their parents to whatever country of origin.

Police always encounter all the problems society fails to solve and dumps it on their lap. It’s perfectly understandable when they become jaded, callous, and so on. They do the work they are ordered to, but the problems never become better.
