I hate how they keep redesigning the Gorn to use as villains/monsters/enemies. Star Trek Online nailed the design imo.
Personally I think they shouldn’t be redesigning any of the aliens. That image of the “Gorn” would be something that could be cool… if it were a new alien species.
I think their lore explanation was that this was a baby Gorn, which I guess are still driven by instinct until they kill all of their siblings, grow up, and are picked up by the other Gorn?

This is essentially a totally different species; why didn’t they just give it a new name…?
They don’t create new things, they just rehash old ideas (and sometimes ruin classic scenes just for the hell of it)
A refresh of the horn might have been on order- like the TNG Klingon refresh (or the one before that.)
