LOL, settlements are just that. They are a minimal tax to those who break the law, while at the same time telling them that you won’t ever do anything to ensure they actually stop breaking the law. With that being said, lawsuits are expensive & time consuming for both sides. Sometimes, even a minor win can feel like a major victory, especially when corporatocracy is so prevalent in America. It is much harder to fight corruption, when the system continually does nothing but defend it.
