- plug it into a tv
- use a wireless mouse/keyboard
You now have something better than Roku will ever make.
I setup Kodi recently. It was somewhat of a project but definitely worth it.
Jellyfin is also worth it.
Been using Jellyfin for a bit now. Kind of a jank setup (Rπ hooked up to separate NAS) but it’s way better than Synology’s built in media app and the Roku based one. One of these days I’ll have a “proper” selfhosted setup.
Since Telstra bricked my perfectly good Telstra TV powered by Roku, I want nothing to do with Roku products again.
*yawns in Apple TV* I haven’t seen an ad online in like 5+ years
