Microsoft is launching a set of capabilities in Windows today that will start to weave AI features into regular Windows 11 PCs, instead of consumers having to buy a special Copilot Plus PC. The biggest change is that Microsoft thinks people will want to talk to their computers and have Copilot take actions on their behalf.

    I DO want to talk to my PC and make it do stuff.

    I just don’t want Microsoft or a similarly soulless malevolence gatekeeping my access or storing everything it sees and hears and does.

    Can we stop pluralizing nouns used in mass (not en masse) in general? And then stop trying to claim my daily grind is like an elephant zoo or sailing adventure? Those are ‘experiences’; TPS reports are mere experience (and LinkedIn motivation).
