“neo will not be allowed to pick up something that is very sharp”

    1. not very useful for cleaning up my kitchen

    2. how does it know what is sharp and what isn’t? lots of things can be accidentally or unexpectedly sharp

Useless safety theater. The actuation force this thing must have if it can ambulate and manipulate things? A knife is the least of my worries. What if it grabs me and breaks my arm or kicks me and shatters my shin? This thing would be far more efficient than a human at beating you to death.

      The grip strength alone!

I’m skeptical of it eventually being automated in a useful way, and if it’s not, then this is just an expensive roundabout way to hire a personal assistant/caregiver.

Literally just slavery with extra steps.

The rich want slaves but they don’t want to see or interact with them. Creepy CEO even made a point to show off how weak robot 1-X is, so the slaves better not get any ideas, either.
