Eh. Epstein is a particularly slimy and self serving person. You can’t take anything he said in his emails at face value. For example, what exactly do you think the metric for that would be in Epstein’s point of view? Obviously it’s not fucking kids because Epstein never expressed any remorse or even acknowledgement that what he did was bad. I hate Trump too but Epstein isn’t exactly a reliable narrator.
It gets worse. Epstein’s business partner, Jean Luc Brunel, was described by John Casablancas as a man who always had date rape drugs on hand.
John Casablancas was a man who once bragged to the New Yorker Magazine (in a 1988 cover story) about seducing a 14 year old who won a rigged contest that he ran for Elite Model Management.
Trump then hosted that contest and then signed his then 13 year old daughter up to be a model, directly “mentored” by Casablancas.
Casablancas famously left his wife for Stephanie Seymour who was 16 at the time

Took me a second to realize how it was meant to be interpreted.
The fact that we could plausibly interpret it as trump calling him correct about something in some way though is still immensely disappointing about our reality.
